KAPRIOL'!
Deze pakkende, Nederlands/Friese band speelt op aanstekelijke wijze eigenzinnige muziek zowel uit de Nederlandse traditie als van eigen hand.
Kapriol'! is inmiddels een veelgevraagde groep die behalve in Nederland
ook regelmatig optreedt bij concerten en festivals in
het buitenland. Zo gaf de groep concerten in Spanje/Barcelona
(2009), Duitsland, België, Denemarken, Polen (2010) en Frankrijk
(2011).
Twee tournees volgden in 2011: in april door België,
Frankrijk en Duitsland,
in juni door de Verenigde Staten.
Kapriol is anders dan anders. Het repertoire bestaat uit vrije bewerkingen van eeuwenoude Nederlandse liederen en dansmelodieën, gecombineerd met fantasierijke eigen composities. Daarin zijn invloeden verwerkt van middeleeuwse, renaissance en Keltische muziek plus verschillende soorten wereldmuziek. Opvallend zijn ook de krachtige meerstemmige zang en de niet-alledaagse instrumenten. Saai is het nooit bij Kapriol'!, want hun muziek spat met ontwapenende vrolijkheid vol muzikale humor van het podium. Improvisatie speelt daarbij een belangrijke rol.
Kapriol'! brengt een zeer afwisselend, avondvullend luisterprogramma,
ook in het Esperanto.
Daarnaast is Kapriol'! een swingende balfolkband,
voor een prachtige dansavond met scottisches, mazurka's, andro's, bourrée's,
jigs en cercles. Dit zijn dansen voor paren, rijdansen en rondedansen
die vroeger algemeen bekend waren in West-Europa (zie: www.balfolk.nl).
Plezier en interactie tussen dansers en muzikanten staan voorop. Na een
korte dansinstructie kan iedereen meedansen!
Ook heeft Kapriol'! een sterk maritieme programma met
krachtige a-capella zang. Je waant je in de havens of zeilend over de
zeven zeeën als de groep dit programma ten gehore brengt, waarbij
traditionele Nederlandse shanties, liedjes over de zee en instrumentale
deunen elkaar afwisselen.
Omdat de muzikanten van Kapriol'! tevoren in verschillende
andere muziekgroepen (De Perelaar, Kat yn 't Seil, Kajto
en Kalis) vele optredens verzorgden, hebben ze een schat aan ervaring
opgebouwd. Het zijn:

Intertempe Kapriol'! estas multsxatata bando kiu ne nur koncertas en Nederlando, sed ankaux ofte cxe koncertoj kaj festivaloj en eksterlando. La grupo aperis interalie en 2009 cxe Circle d’Arrels en Barcelono, cxe KEF en Danlando, cxe FESTO en Zwingenberg, cxe la Beneluksa Kongreso en Antverpeno (Belgio), cxe la Franca-Germana Kongreso en Kaiserslautern kaj cxe ARKONES en Pollando.En 2011 sekvis 2 turneoj. La unua estis ekde aprilo 2011 tra Belgio, Francio kaj Germanio, kiun organizas Eurokka (la Esperanto-Rok-Asocio). En junio 2011 estis turneon tra Usono. (Vidu la koncertliston)
La muziko de Kapriol'! estas nekutima. La repertuaro enhavas liberajn arangxadojn de multjarcentaj nederlandaj kantoj kaj dancmelodioj kiujn ili kombinas kun memfarita muziko. Ilia muziko havas influojn el diversaj stiloj kiel renesanca muziko kaj mondmuziko. Ankaux rimarkinda estas la forta plurvocxa kantado kaj la ne-cxiutagaj muzikiloj. Cxe Kapriol'! neniam estas enuiga momento, cxar la grupo prezentas sian muzikon cxiam kun gajeco kaj muzika humuro. Krom tio improvizajxo estas grava parto, ankaux sur la podio! Por esperantistoj ili havas programon en esperanto, sed ili ankaux povas prezenti miksitan programon kun kantoj en la nederlanda, la frisa kaj la esperanta lingvo.
Krom kompleta koncertprogramo (interalie kelkaj maristaj
kantoj kaj kanonoj el la kanonlibro de Kajto) la grupo ankaux prezentas
balfolkan dancprogramon, lauxdezire kun dancinstruo.
Balfolko signifas: festa balo kun fokuso sur festi unu kun la aliaj kaj
ne sur la pasxoj. Temas pri tradiciaj dancoj, kiuj estis sxatataj dum
multaj jarcentoj en tuta Okcident-Euxropo, kiel pardancoj (skotisxo, polko,
mazurko), vicdancoj (bureo, andro, hanterdro) kaj ronddancoj (cirklo kaj
jxigo). La dancmelodioj cxiam estas ludataj rekte kun interagado inter
muzikistoj kaj dancantoj. Ne necesas multe da dancekspliko, cxar la bazo
de la balfolk-dancoj estas suficxe simpla. Cxiu kapablas kundanci en la
limtempo de dek minutoj. Samtempe la progresintaj dancantoj povas gxisfunde
gxui la dancojn kun variacioj kaj plisubtiligoj.

The catchy, original Dutch/Frisian band KAPRIOL'! play lively music from the Dutch tradition as well as their own tunes.
Kapriol'! is a much-wanted band that performs in The Netherlands and
at international concerts and festivals throughout Europe:
Spain/Barcelona (2009), Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Poland (2010) and France
(2011).
Two recent tours took them further through Europe (Belgium,
France and Germany) as well as through the United States in 2011.
Kapriol'! makes the difference. Their repertoire includes
free interpretations of ancient Dutch songs and dance tunes
accompanied by playful original compositions.
The music holds Medieval, Renaissance and Celtic influences as well as
various kinds of world music. Strong vocal harmonies and unusual instruments
give their music an extra flavor.
Never a dull moment with Kapriol'!. They are bursting with frivolity on
stage, adding spontaneous improvisations.
Kapriol'! presents a rich concert program for the entire
evening, in Dutch or in Esperanto.
Kapriol'! also presents an admirable balfolk repertoire
for an exciting evening of Scottisches, Mazurkas, Andros, Bourrees, Jigs
and Circassian circles. These dances are designed for couples, line- and
circle dances that have been popular around Western Europe. Fun is the
key to their performances: enjoy the dance and the interaction with the
musicians. Experienced callers will lead you through the dance.
In addition, Kapriol'! presents a maritime program with
strong a-cappella singing, including traditional Dutch shanties, sea songs
and instrumental tunes.
